Capítulo 4 - Reservando algumas coisas

Olá a todos que irão acompanhar nossa incrível viagem pela África,

Faltam menos de dois meses para o embarque agora, e muitas coisas estão sendo resolvidas.

Nas últimas semanas reservamos nosso hostel em Johanesburgo (Moafrika), e também o primeiro safári que faremos, saindo também de Johanesburgo, que vai durar 4 dias:

Para quem se interessar, segue o itinerário abaixo. O principal é que nesse safári poderemos ver os chamados Big Five, da áfrica, que são: Leões, Elefante africano, Rinocerontes, Búfalos, Leopardo). Ah, e também será bom porque alugaremos o carro e ficaremos livres para parar onde quisermos, fazendo o caminho que quisermos dentro do parque Krueger. Vejam detalhes:

30 January 2012 - Mpumalanga/Limpopo Province - Kruger National Park

You will be met at the Johannesburg International Airport by a Southern Eagle Tours representative who will hand you all your travel documentation which includes accommodation vouchers, car rental vouchers and detailed maps. A detailed route description will be done and you will be assisted in collecting your rental vehicle.

Your vehicle is collected and you depart from Johannesburg, traveling east through the Mpumalanga province, descend the eastern escarpment and enter the world famous Kruger National Park.

Accommodation: Skukuza Restcamp - Self-catering basis (There is a well-stocked shop and restaurant in the Restcamp)

What is a restcamp? The word "restcamp" might be a bit deceiving as it has nothing to do with "camping". The accommodation used in the Kruger National Park are brick or stone built cottages or bungalows, usually with a thatched roof. These bungalows or cottages all have private en-suite facilities (WC, shower and wash basin) and air-conditioning.

31 January 2012 & 1 February 2011 – Mpumalanga/Limpopo Province - Kruger National Park

A full two days in the Kruger National Park. With an extensive network of well-maintained roads, the Kruger Park is an ideal self-drive destination.

Accommodation: Satara Restcamp - Self-catering basis (There is a well-stocked shop and restaurant in the Restcamp)

2 February 2012 – End of Safari - Today's route:

After an breakfast you travel back to Johannesburg where your rental vehicle is dropped off at the airport for the end of the safari.

Estamos também com a reserva praticamente confirmada de nosso safári + viagem à Zanzibar pela Tanzânia. Estamos com alguns problemas para fazer a transferência bancária para a agência lá, mas vai dar tudo certo. Tomara que consigamos fechar isso logo!

Bom, da minha parte, falta ver o que faremos no Quênia (hiking, safári, outra coisa), enquanto Filipe e Marcelo estarão na cidade do cabo.
